Cindy's Stuffed Kale Leaves
Simple and delicious!
- Blanch Kale for 5 mins.
- Remove from hot water and drain.
- Prepare filling with your of choice ground meat pan fried, onion, cooked white rice, garlic powder, and diced, roasted red peppers.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss and then fill leaves, wrap and roll.
- Secure with toothpick.
- Use olive oil to pan fry the Kale rolls.
- Cook for 7 minutes total and roll them often in skillet when browning.
- Add 1/4 c. water to the skillet, and cover.
- Braise for 5 minutes on low , covered.
- Add 1/4 c. Caesar Salad dressing to the pan and whisk the pan drippings together.
- Roll the stuffed Kale leaves in the pan sauces and then serve warm.
- Drizzle pan dripping over the kale before serving.
